Terms of payment

  1. The following payment methods are available in the Toll Shop:
    • Credit Card
    • PayPal
    • EPS Bank Transfer
    • Amazon Pay
    • Apple Pay
    • Google Pay
  2. Credit Card
    1. We accept credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover/Diners Club. The transmission of your credit card information is protected by a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection.
    2. Your credit card will be charged upon completion of your order.
    3. New verification process:
      Since January 2021, banks have been required to implement the new EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) to provide even greater security for online purchases.
    4. For every online payment, PSD2, the card issuer, and a risk analysis automatically determine whether you need to verify your identity using the 3D Secure process. This security procedure ensures that your credit card is used only by you (and not by third parties). The 3D Secure process is known by the following names:
      • Mastercard Identity Check
      • Verified by Visa
      • American Express Safekey
      • Discover/Diners Club ProtectBuy
      • Authentication takes place through your bank’s online service. Many banks have provided a dedicated app for this purpose.
    5. Not using 3D Secure yet?
      Contact your bank and ask about the available options for the 3D Secure process. These may include, for example, a PIN, an SMS code, a password, or a fingerprint.

  3. PayPal
    1. When paying with PayPal, you will be redirected directly to the PayPal website at the end of the checkout process. After the payment is successful, you will be redirected back to the Mautshop.
    2. Your PayPal account will be charged after you have completed your order. For more information about PayPal, visit http://www.paypal.at.
  4. EPS Bank Transfer
    1. When selecting the EPS Bank Transfer payment option, you will be redirected to your bank’s digital platform to complete the payment process.
    2. After successfully logging in, the transfer window will appear, and you can complete the transfer digitally. Once the payment is verified, you will be redirected back to the Mautshop to finalize your order.
  5. Amazon Pay
    1. When paying with Amazon Pay, you will be redirected directly to the Amazon Pay website at the end of the checkout process. There, you can use the payment and shipping information stored in your Amazon account to complete the purchase.
    2. After successfully logging in and confirming the payment, you will be redirected back to the Mautshop.
    3. The payment method stored with Amazon Pay will be charged after you complete your order. For more information about Amazon Pay, visit the Amazon Pay website.
  6. Apple Pay
    1. When paying with Apple Pay on a compatible mobile device, you can complete the payment process directly through your Apple device. The payment is processed using the card stored in Apple Pay.
    2. To authorize the payment, verify your identity on your device, for example, using Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode.
    3. After successful authentication and payment, your order is automatically completed. The charge is processed using the payment method stored in Apple Pay.
  7. Google Pay
    1. When paying with Google Pay on a compatible mobile device, you can complete the payment process directly on your device. The payment is processed using the payment method stored in Google Pay.
    2. To authorize the payment, confirm your identity according to the security settings of your device or your Google Account.
    3. After successful authentication and payment, your order is automatically completed. The charge will be processed using the payment method stored in Google Pay.
